ABOUT CECELIA
Cecelia Jaskel is an Actress, Singer, Content Creator & Teaching Artist born and raised in Philadelphia (go birds!)
After graduating from Temple University with a BA in Theatre, Cecelia performed all across Philadelphia including with The Philadelphia Orchestra, The Philadelphia Eagles, Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, The Philadelphia Opera, Bristol Riverside Theatre, Sesame Place, and Eastern State Penniteniary's Halloween Night's Festival in Al Capone's Speakeasy where she acted as a dead 1920's Jazz Singer and was awarded the "Performer of the Year" award in 2018 out of 300 actors.
Cecelia continued her education and training at Purdue University in West Lafayette Indiana on a full ride where she recently received her MFA in Acting. She instructed various Undergraduate Theatre Courses, worked as the Social Media Manager for the Purdue University Department of Theatre & Dance for 3 years, as well as performed onstage most notably as "Alice" in BRIGHT STAR (2024 Best Leading Actress Award), "Mary Shelley" in MARY SHELLEY PRESENTS: FRANKENSTEIN, and her Terminal Thesis Role genderbending "Oberon" in A MIDSUMMER NIGHT'S DREAM.
Cecelia is a multi-hyphinated artist who is passionate about artistic collaboration, accessible storytelling and the development of new work.
